why is it that everytime i search for something wii related its always ign or gamespot or some other sites that arent known instead of wiichat threads?

wiichat only shows up when you look for wii forums community.

That isn't really true. In fact, earlier today, I googled for "how to connect wii to internet" looking to quickly find the official Nintendo support site, but instead, a WiiChat thread was the first result.
