Activision admit Skylanders is faulty!

Jusat spoke to them and they admit there is a problem with the portal and are working on it to find a solution. In the meantime they will replace the receivers but the same problem is likely....lol.
Shouldn't they recall the Skylanders until they've resolved the issue rather than have disappointed gamers and the rigmarole/cost of returning units over & over again?

my portal is working fine i changed the batteries because it used to happen to my portal too but i changed it and it started to get the signal of it
