Bape: Heard of it?

Well I recently spent about 100 bucks on a Bape sweater and, to my surprise, almost no one at my school knew what the brand was. Only a scarce few did. So I'm just wondering how many here recognize the brand Bape? (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bape)

Hell yeah I know bape, don't have any though. Lil Wayne is seen in the Hip-hop world to advertise it the most, along with Lupe Fiasco and Pharrel (pff...) doubt I'd buy a hoody from Bape, just 'cause of the price tag

Yeah it's steep. It's also hard to know if what you have is real or not. I'm almost positive my hoody is real (even though I recently discovered my shoes are fake XO), but there are people who say it's not. And what really pisses me off is although Pharrell is rich and has is own clothing line within Bape, he's often found wearing fakes.
