Holt ?

Ok i dont know if you guys are doing holt or not .The book holt. Any way at my school we are doing holt and the teachers have no choice to do it . My english teacher decided not to do it so there bring ing charges aginst him. So he wont be my teacher if a few months . So i was just wondering what you guys though about the holt thing and the no child left behind .

Things that are bad about holt
- We arnt alowded to read novels
-all it is teaching us us to pass the standers wich is just trying to pass the test
-my school spent 120,000 on the books wich we did nt need could of went to some thing we actualy need


Idk if im making any sense here at all but you can response to it or not .

And the district has no choice but to do holt becuse if we dont do it we lose 8million ans we cant aford that .

And....yea im mad

That bullet point is actually a way I look at the school system sometimes. Wait! Is this the author Holt? Is this the book called How Children Fail by Holt?
