on mario on the DS you can play one player as Luigi, is it possible to select different charicters on one player on the wii. I ask cause Luigi is my sons favorite!!

Yes you can, you play as Luigi in multi-player mode if your P2.

Well colin, Boo67 is right, you can only play Luigi as P2 in multiplayer. I will, however, see if i can find a cheat to use Luigi as P1. The only way I know how is if you get a "Super Guide", exit its' guidance, and play as Luigi. I hope you find this useful!

Oh I just looked and no, you can't play as Luigi or one of the Toads without hacking (just edited).
