Thanks for that gnahc79, think I'm going to do the same as you and replay from the start of the castle and try and slash and kick more to conserve my ammo. Do you think that you will now be able to get thru that room where you ran out of ammo before now that you have more stuff. Please will you let me know if you get thru, I'm following in your footsteps here:lol:

I've been given some sort of support thing for my wrist and have palyed about 2 hours of this game now. I've just got to what I think is a lake after getting a green precious stone by the church.

I've seen trailers so I know there's some sort of a creature/boss waiting for me in this lake and I read about it in some document I found in a shack.

Anything I can do to prepare myself?

I have the rifle, handgun, shotgun and TMP.

yeah you will have to shake the wii remote at times in the boss fight to dodge stuff. Dont know how that will work out with your wrist? ummm you dont use guns in the fight just harpoons. Hit the boss while he is towing you in the back, and then he will start charging at you and hit the boss in the mouth a few times with the harpoon. Repeat this a few time. Boss name is Del lago.

Yup I'm right handed and my right wrist is fractured.

When dodging the two bolders I've encountered so far I switched to my left hand but I'm guessing this will be harder.

well just dont fall out of the boat, if you do start shaking, and when you defeat the boss, you will know, get ready to start shaking.

How many areas/chapters are there in this game? I'm in the castle and gonna replay from start of this area to try and get more ammo but am thinking that this is not very far into the game at all. Is there loads more to come?

if ur on 3.1 there are 12 more chapters. some are short; the ones on the island are long. final chapter consists of only a boss.

EDIT: I HAVE A QUESTION!!!!
on the GC version you could do a backflip on your jetski by pressing L + R,
how u do that on wii? i tried pressing A + B at same time, and ive tried waving at the right time, too....

Walk up the stairs as soon as you see the cut scene do a 180 throw a grenade or fire grenade, go to the right side taking out the guys coming at you stay on the right corner wall and be aware of the guys to left, especially the one that has a parasite move from corner to corner making sure ashley is behind you, if it is a single enemy shoot head kick and slash if you can, if you get a crowd around you pull out the shotgun after you have finished all the reg dudes, leave ashely upstairs and go for the red coat guy blow of his head and take out the parasite with a well placed rifle shot.

and for the love of god people use the red9 it is so bad ass looking why wouldnt you want to use it :lol:

well I finally got to the next save point and still have a decent amount of ammo leftover . For both major waves I stood in the corner near the door. For the 2nd wave I ran out of the platform room shooting. I tried staying in there once but the hole in the ceiling made it a bit hairy.

Oh, most ppl probably know this already, but after the blind slasher shoot the hanging flame when the 2 crazies are underneath (one or both die instantly). In the next room shoot the actual stick of dynamite to blow up all 3 crazies.

Im at the part where i got all three ornaments to open the main entrance, Im guessing im almost out of the castle, I have some much money and treasures I dont know if i did really well or its always like that alot of red9 ammo shotty ammo and enough rifle to feel good...

yeah ure nearly out but soon there is a pretty dam hard boss i died loas of times then i bought the broken butterfly and won very quickly trust me that guns very usefull for the upahead chapters.

p.s im on the island after tha castle its pretty hard and scarier but still overall not very scary game for me

I gave the boss (Del Lago) a go and beat it with ease.

No I'm a good bit into the next part of the game but running low on ammo

Why the hell don't those dudes sell ammo! :lol:
