Character Confirmations and Rumors for SSBB

I have already posted something like this before, but I decided to post another updated version of a giant list of characters in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. This List is all based off of Rumors and confirmations on the character list for Brawl coming out on Feb. 10, 2008. and do not have any of those "My wish List" characters. All based off of recent rumors off of the internet. If the rumors are true, than the characters on this list will most likely be on Brawl. By the way, in a recent rumor, it stated that Sakurai (creator of Brawl) pushed back the date of Super Smash Bros. to add more characters. He also said that he wanted over 40 characters in the game, plus 3 or more 3rd party characters. (So far, Sonic and Snake have been announced)

Here are some characters that WILL be returning to Brawl that were in Melee.

Those are the rumors out there. Remember, they are only rumors, and do not mean they are true.

Here are some answers to some questions you might be asking yourself.

Does Link have a move where he turns into a wolf?
A: Sadly, no. Link's moves have already been announced, and a move where he turns into a wolf does not exist. Link's current moves are:

Up special: The spin attack

Side special: Gale Boomerang

Down special:Bomb

Standard Special:Hero's bow

Is Samurai Goroh a character?
A: No. He is only an assist trophy. Same goes for Lyn from Fire Emblem. That is too bad . . . But an F-zero assist trophy may mean Captain Falcon is most likely to return.

What happened to the pokemon?
A: Sakurai has already announced that the only Pokemon character staying is Pikachu. But, all 3 pokemon are being replaced with Charizard, Squirtle, and Ivysaur, all included with the Pokemon trainer. There still might be some Pokemon characters announced.

Falco gone?
A: Sadly, Sakurai announced that clone characters will not be coming back. I do not know if there will be clone characters in Brawl, but I am assuming there is.

No it was. It was announced by him on a japanese radio talk show. Well, according to a rumor. Maybe it was made up. How do you know it was?

Yeah, this thread wasn't too successful. And as it has been said before, no character has been officially "confirmed" to not be in brawl. I think Ness is as good as gone but his absence has in no way been confirmed. Also, I think Jigglypuff is almost a guarentee returner.

And, I'm not entirely sure on this, but didn't some Nintendo source say that all original (64) characters would return? (Obviously, this basically has proved to be false because like I said, Ness is as good as gone.)
