I got bored of the original DR pretty quick. I think it's because it's too much of a joke for me to enjoy it.

I'd have to agree actually. It's a nice concept, but the mechanics were poorly done, and it felt very broken. If they can patch it up and fix the problems that occured in DR1, I would pick it up.
