GH3: Can't beat Bosses

lol how do u come up with jack black as a boss?! anyways, took me forever to get th ehang of boss battles, took me like 5 tries to beat tom morrello. just keep trying, after u beat tom slash will be a piece of cake. lou is kinda tough.

Jack Black isn't a boss. Sorry for the confusion.

My younger 19 year old sister is a guitar hero freak and was a controller hog. By the time to got to Tenacious D's song, I wasn't paying much attention. I remember her saying "I'm playing Jack Black!" and "I beat Jack Black". I assumed he was a boss.

Those bosses are hard though. This is my first Guitar Hero, but I can play it easily on medium. Several other people I know played the previous 2 games on expert, and still are stuck.

I'll figure it out eventually. But I have another question.

Do you want to "PREVENT" the death strike, or do you use your power-ups DURING the death strike? I mean, is it too late once you see the death strike on your guitar neck or can you still deter it?
