If you know anything about successful egg drops

ah, i remember this project. Just put 4 layers of socks on the egg, and put socks inside the shoe box. that's how i did, and it worked!

i was only allowed straws and tape.


what i did was first framed the egg in a small box. then using the box as the mold, made it into a large ball. after the drop, the egg had a small dent where it tried to crack but it didn't bust open.

Nope, that was allowed for me. and i passed. and if it cracked, automatic failure.

I made like a baby carage with the tape.Put it on the buttom and then sticked it to the box made out of popsicle stick.Put another layer of popsicle sticks and boom done.

How far do you have to drop it from the floor Atrey?

um...it's actually launched by trebuchet, about 50 to 100 yards. it can also only be a certain size and weight and have to have an easy entry/exit point for the egg because there is a 15 second time limit.

Yeah, it's an American thing. The idea is to contruct a device which lets you drop an egg from a certain height without breaking it.
