What is this whole rpg thing.. And do we all play it just to lounge around?

I would like to get into.. I love rpg games

RPG means: Role Player Game, that means u get into the role of another player, for example Mario 64 thats an RPG cause u are Mario not u, and for example non-RPG can be some FPS (First player shooter) like Goldeneye oor metroid games

I know what an rpg is.. But this website has a built in rpg server thingy.. I wanted to know what was up with that
