Was anyone else disappointed with the graphics on the wii?

I have been putting it off for awhile until the price finally came down, and then I went and bought the Wii I spent $400 total with all the accessories yet I don't see where it can even compare with the xbox 360, or PS3... I wonder if Nintendo plans to improve on it.

For those of you that have the wii, is the limited memory an issue when saving games?

that's why it has an sd card slot up to 40 gigs & if you know nintendo there not concerned with graphics only gameplay aka "MARIO"

the Wii is more about quality controls and gameplay than graphics. get Mario Galaxy, Zelda Twilight Princess, Mario Kart, and Smash Bros. Brawl. you'll see what i mean

(note there are a few games on both PS3 and 360 and the 360s ones look better)

If you're disappointed with the graphics then you really should have done enough research to realize that the hardware is essentially that of an overclocked GameCube before you bought it.

As everyone has said, Nintendo has focused much more on gameplay and innovation rather than graphics.

The turm "Hardcore gamer" is just a idiots way of critasizeing there hatred of a certain game/console because they don't like it.

Point is
If a game/person is classed as "hardcore" it doesn't make it "fun"/them any better
Fun games/people are better than a game/person that is called "hardcore" but is in fact boring waste of time.

Ok and the teenage kids in there dark bedrooms on there "hidden folders" while listening to there "rap" songs that they think are "phat" and playing Halo whatevernumberitsonnow and ranting about how "Hardcore" they are over the mic to there "friends" that are probably people like Gary Glitter on the prowl for pictures of kids in there pants whilst trying to speak like one of the "kids" and not sound like some old fart with a weak bladder.

Have to say, I don't care about the graphics... I think it's a machine designed for fun games... I used to be a 'hardcore' gamer when the PS2 came out... I know at the time the graphics were outstanding, but now I prefer games that are fun rather than frustrating.

And hey - get the "Wii Me" accurate enough, and it's even better - love it!

I never expected much from the graphics. It was meant for gameplay, specifically for multiplayers (wii probably pronounced as 'we' for a reason) I used to be a 100% nintendo fan (besides FF games), but the wii is also one of my biggest disappointments.
I mean, how many great games r out there? Only a few (IMO).
And the price of the hardware may fool you, but the fully loaded controllers is about $85 bucks a piece + batteries, then u have the over-price crappy quality (I mean gameplay/storyline wise) games.

Honestly can't see myself buying another 360 game... Ever. I don't own a 360 anymore, but i'll pick one up before a wii game. I'm gonna switch over to my PS3 (full time) if I can get my wii sold.

Nintendo, you've just lost another disappointed costumer

There's no way in the world this day and age to be impressed with SD video or graphics. We have been shown the one true light, 1080P resolution, and our love is for it and it only. Since I know it is low resolution I just enjoy the game experience like I did in the pre HD days.
