I must agree those are some more lovely pictures Celeste!

Also, many hours later, DRMARIO, the vast majority of Northern scum get filtered out by the time you go to uni, so Liverpool is a fine choice! What degree do you want to do?

And to contribute to the 'Official Photo Album':

Aye, I understand, but I refuse to live in liverpool because of the idiots roaming the streets of a night. In general, it's a pretty dangerous place to live..especially if you're the slightest bit 'different'.
I plan on taking a degree in Modern Culture/Urban Regeneration, and perhaps some work with Architecture.
Fair enough. I don't live in Liverpool either, so I don't have to put up with those idiots. I was in town last night though for my mates birthday, and there was this lad trying to bottle some other lad because he had hit his mate. I looked at him and just thought, 'I hate you, what are you doing?' There's too many people like that around at night.
I'm in my second year now so some of my mates have moved into student houses off of Smithdown Road, and so many of them have told me about break-ins and just trouble around there. It's stupid, I'd hate to live there.

Sounds like a pretty cool course! Are you in Year 13 or?

I'm actually only in Year Ten of High School..Unfortunately.
I assumed you were older sorry! You still have a while before you're off to uni then...it's good that you're thinking about it early though. I knew some people that simply just wanted to go to uni, but didn't really think about what they wanted to do so just picked a random course. Of course it didn't turn out well, some have had to change because they hated it, and others have just dropped out.

I actually live in Liverpool, everyone so who are you going to listen to on this one?

First of all, why, would any year ten student want to worry about getting killed at night? Why would you go out at night in the first place? I'm trying to figure that one out. My friends go out at night, they're not the best people to be around, but they wouldn't want to kill people (they'll just do everything else). I admit, there's people that will try to rob you, but no area is perfect.

It's winter now so it goes dark at about 5pm now. That's the time I get off college on Monday, it's usually raining, I have my iPod, phone, debit card, everything with me at that point, it takes me forty minutes to get home. I have yet to be robbed or anything, there's some people I'm cautious of when walking past me but everyone's a bit cynical, you can't deny it.

I like living here, it has absolutely everything I need, it's good for supplies, it's even good for my education. Some bad people shouldn't push you off. I'm an example, and alive and kicking...

this is me at a halloween kegger, i dressed up as Brent Leroy from the show Corner Gas

Emma, you DO understand when I referred to them as 'murderers'..I don't mean literally.. I use words and such for the scum =D

And I know you live there..And I mean no offense by it...
But compared to what I'm used to..I really wouldn't be comfortable living in a place like that. Yes, there's idiots where I live, but on a much smaller scale than that of liverpool.

I'm not making an argument out of this, everyone deserves an opinion.

It depends on what you really categorise as scum, you're stereotyping people who I don't know... Enjoy midnight walks! Yeah, I'll stick with that one. But not all of them have bad intentions, it's often just those who are focussed on destroying their own health and well being. My bushes have been set on fire before, but those are little children who weren't brought up properly, which has been dealt with, and they've been evicted. >_>

Fine, if you don't like the city, that's your view, but I personally couldn't live anywhere that wasn't jam packed full of people.

yeah i know i love the city, just wished i lived in a bigger/busier one

I guess I must be the oddball, as I tend to preference to smaller social circles and away from the hustle of typical everyday live for most. My ideal location would be isolated, outside a community (city), and while my current location resembles much of my preferences personally I would enjoy an even greater distance outside city limits than presently. :)

I could live in the countryside if I definitely had a brilliant social circle, if I didn't, I'd be bored to death. It's just you can meet so many people in cities, even though they're all not that great...

Jack, yeah, they were evicted and sent to a youth hostel for their troubled kid who loved arsen and just vandalising everything, not like that applies for everyone though.
