Ouch

I have downloaded the internet channel, and i realized it took up about HALF of my memory space! This gets me wondering if I now have a pretty limited selection of games to choose from. Should I still keep the internet? (I searched for this and couldn't find it)

it takes up HALF? i never knew that. it didnt say that when i downloaded it? it was something like 200 blocks with 2000 left or something.

' sounds pretty bloated! Firefox is only 5.7MB, which would be 22.2 blocks (assuming 2000 blocks = 512MB on the Wii, don't have mine yet). What the hell could make it take up 256MB of space? :/

Are you sure it's taking up half? If I remember correctly, it's about 200 blocks and the Wii has around 2000 available.

It takes up 29 blocks, I just looked. Games don't take up that much space, I'm halfway through DBZ:BT 2 and it only takes up one block. Wii Sports takes only 2. I believe VC games are what take up most space compared to other things. I wouldn't know for sure because I don't have any VC games.

Yeah I think it's only like 6MB or something. Nothing too unexpected.

someone mentioned to me that it chinned thier memory too, so I didn't download it, gonna check it out now see what happens, if it was 256mb it would take a good few hours to download anyway;.

It should only take up approx. 60MB considering its 230 blocks and estimating Wii having 2000.

Ok, since Wii games don't take up much, I think i'm clear, I guess i have to look into this more.

well you would know how much you have left if you pay attention to how many you have to begin with. and with a some simple subtraction even a 3rd grader could find it out.
