Problem with a Wii Disk. Toothpaste and Deodorant isn't enough.

In my childhood, I loved to play on the Wii. I got a game called "Thrillville: Off The Rails" back in July 2009. I really enjoyed the game, so I liked to play through it again sometimes. Now, I can't. The reason why is because the game will freeze on the intro after you create/choose a character. The game is COMPLETELY normal except for that. I've tried to use toothpaste and deodorant to fill in the cracks, but the same thing kept happening. This has been happening to me since around 2012-2014 and I am clueless on how to fix it. If anyone can fix this, I will be forever in debt. Please, help me with this problem that's been haunting me for years.
