This is due to the large problem we are having with illegal immigrants. Im serious, you wake up the next day and instead of 20 guys on the corner looking for work you see 40, and the day after that its 60. Im not being racist, but there is absolutely NO help from the government stopping unwanted immigration. The reason I say its unwanted is that there is balancing that goes on by who gets into the country as a citizen and who does not. Thats why we have lines and waiting times to get in. There are many countries in the world and many of them want to live here but their chances are going from slim to none because some from a neighboring country do not give a crap about laws. Our government needs to weed out the ones that do not belong here and we need to put pressure on mexico to become a better place all around so those who need a better life wont have to break our laws to get it. Mexico deserves to be a law abiding and promising country, like canada, not a country where the rich stay rich and the rest are super poor.

(i walked down hollywood blvd during holloween and I swear there were no white or black people. Everyone was hispanic, and half of the women were pushing strollers with like 4 kids packed into them. Who the hell brings a **** load of babies out in the middle of the night on holloween. There were more strollers than there were cars on the street.)

By the time the dvd market was popular the internet was already established. Compare it to vhs sales and you might have a point, but you dont. Not to mention, porn isnt everything. I dont want porn, i want better games with better protection, better movies and better data storage. Porn is one market out of many, and this time around, Sony is a huge player in Hollywood, unlike back in the 80s. Too many companies are with blue ray, and the porn industry is not as powerful as you think it is. Take my word on it, this is my field of expertise.

personally, i think everyone has a dvd player. porn is not going to be a major factor. i don't think it there will be millions of people buying the PS3 just so they can watch super high quality porn and jack till they crack. and i'm pretty sure that blu-ray players can support dvd format.

The porn industry is HUGE, just about everyone owns porno's even most of the Pokemon kids parents.

Its just another set back for Blu-ray, if you ask me.

sadly i worked on ghost rider. I read the script over a year ago, and it wasnt bad.. .but then crystal sky sold it over to sony and someone let nicholas cage get ahold of it. Comparing his performance with the script, he did his own thing half the time. Poor director probably couldnt do ****.

But no, the porn industry doesnt even cum close to having the type of backing blue ray does. You have to realize, mr jacksoffalot will be just as happy with cheaper regular dvds than paying more for HD-dvds. You still dont get it, that blue ray has the backing of 180 different companies, all of them which did not want porn to be allowed on the format. Blue ray players play regular dvds. YOu will notice that HD-DvDs have not sky rocketed at all, and thats what this is about. Not regular dvds.

You seriously need to get away from porn, you give it too much credit. This isnt the 1980s anymore. Again, things have changed.

Although his southern accent in CON-AIR pretty much made the movie a comedy.

His Uncle Francis Ford Coppela actually filmed a movie here in Tulsa called The Outsiders starring Patrick Swayze, Tom Cruise, Emillio Estevez, Rob Lowe, Ralph Machio and Matt Dillon, i got to see a few scenes filmed here in Tulsa . I guess Nicholas got his mommas genes instead.

I cant wait for another David Fincher movie to come out, I could watch every movie that guy makes over and over again, even Panic Room.

Hes comepletely Right. I dont think Anyone Ever will agree that the Success of a Format Depends on the Fu**ing Porn Industry. Wow Yes alot of People indulge in porn but It doesn't make anywhere near as much as Regular Movies and Shows. The percentage Doesn't even compare. Porn is useless to determining a Format war that point is completely Invalid.

I have the chance to get a PS3 for 60G:$400 20G:$350 Canadian or a 360 for $300 along with trading in 10 games(got 'em stacked and ready to go). hmmm... Throwing what I said before out the window(one of my senseless rants I'm sure) I'm trying to decide now: Embark on Halo3, Blue Dragon, Gears of War, and Fable2 or continue my Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, and MGS collection, as well as continue my Tekken set as well as play Resistance. hmmm... This'll take a while, I really wanna play Halo, but...

Well theres nothing wrong with the PS3. If you can get it, get it. People who cant afford it and only got the Wii will be telling you not to get it for random and false reasons.It doesnt have rumble yet but if its a good game, i never notice it anyways.

Gears of War is garbage
instead of Fable2 just get PS3 oblivion since it performs better than the 360 version. Halo will probably be good, but hey its just one game. Like gamercon said if you can get it, get it.
I got mine 2 days after Xmas. No stores i had been going to for a week had any. I was buying a PC game at Circuitcity and a guy was in front of me. Hey can i get a PS3? which one? oh the 60gb...
He sounded so casual and so did she, i knew they had more, so i got one...
Alot of good games are coming to PS3 and alot of Exclusives that 360 had are coming too. oh yeah you didnt meantion Lair.. that looks nice.
Blue Dragon is already out in Japan so its kidna ridiculous its taking them 6+ months to get it in English.

thats a good deal. Normally I would suggest going for the 20gig ps3, and then upgrading the HD later (very easy as they use PC hard drives which are super cheap), but $50 more for teh 60gig version offers the chrome lining and a few other goodies along with the bigger HD. So i would go with the 60gig. You will find theres a lot more to the PS3 than meets the eye. I promise if you want a 360, you will find another one used for even cheaper at a later date. The Ps3 seems to retain its value where as the 360 can be found very cheap. So you would be getting a deal with the PS3, not so much paying 300 for the xbox.
Either way thats still a really good deal for the PS3s. I wouldnt pass it up if I were you.
