Revelations was glitchy as all hell today... After my second Escort match, the lobby locked up, forcing me to retreat to the dashboard 'n having to log back into the multiplayer again.

After that, my Smoke kept gettin' that "delay glitch" time and again, where no matter what action you're performing (doing nothing, running, walking, stunning, etc.), your Smoke simply won't be thrown for about half a second, if at all. It happened five times in a row once. ;_;

Immediately afterwards, the batteries in my controller began to die, so I had to end the session on a rather bothersome note. sadface

Not with a Ubisoft game, anywho. But that's AC multiplayer for ya. Brotherhood had some terribad issues with connections, now Revelations has less connection problems but moar gameplay glitches.

Just in one of those moods where I can't really be bothered with anything. Not PvZ, not KF, not Binding of Isaac. If i'm not in the mood for any of those I ain't in the mood for any of my PS3 games either.

Tried doing a Judas Chest run while in said mood. Nothing really happened, never even made it past the Cathedral in every run except one of them which I died off in The Chest before actually reaching the boss. Dying in Basement/Cellar says everything. What a way to go. [STRIKE]I died three times in a row too, that makes it much worse[/STRIKE]

Tried playing KF too but just not really in the mood for it.

Having to give up playing a game due to hitting a brick wall progress wise is annoying.

I was enjoying Popolucrois as well

The more I complain 'bout Revelations' glitchy multiplayer, the glitchier it gets. I encountered the strangest, most insane glitch I've ever seen after an Escort match.

As the timer hit zero in round 2, a different glitch I'm familiar with happened. The game continues even though the timer is at zero, but no more VIPs spawn and remain dead. The VIP hunters can only stun the VIP defenders, while the defenders can't get checkpoints and only kill the hunters. Somethin' was amiss, however; people were still joining the glitch lobby. That never happened before.

My team leader chose the Trickster as our persona, the enemy had... er, I can't even remember anymore. The reason I can't, is because when a new player joined the lobby, they had a different persona from what they should'a had, unless they were on my team. Whenever someone used Disguise, they stayed as that persona forever as well, even after dying 'n respawing.

Suddenly, the VIPs respawn like a new game is happening and are even different personas (now the Champion and the Trickster; I was defending myself lol). Then somethin' even weirder happened. I could no longer kill the VIP hunters. Instead, they could kill both my team AND the VIPs! I could stun them too. o_O One player in the lobby couldn't even do anything (he couldn't kill us, the VIP, or stun anyone), and he was the Deacon. Two other players were the Vanguard and the Count, the Count was changed from their team's original persona, and then changed again eventually using that Disguise glitch again.

Finally, all the opposing team left the glitch lobby, and the match was forced to end. Apparently a total team score of 32,000 is too much, so the game awarded no one XP. Truly the strangest glitch I've ever encountered. I've dealt with hax less of an eyesore than that.

Though, to be honest, if this was an actual game mode and well polished as such, it'd be pretty fun. Even moreso than normal Escort. Attackers could select any persona, maybe the same lock-on predator/prey system used in Assassinate. It'd require a lot more stealth since if someone locks onto a hunter on the roof, they instantly become the hunted. Players walking up to targets head-on with intent to abuse Mute/Smoke for free stuns and a kill will be punished severely. Hunters with the "scrub gun" can sneakily pick off defender and cause a distraction for hunters on the ground to get a safer and better kill on the VIP. Hell, everyone could jump on the roof at once and initiate some firing squad fun.

In a specialized Escort like that, stealth is even more important for hunters, and a necessary consideration even for the defenders. Walking directly beside the VIP will get you shot/killed, leaving your VIP defenseless after you die. It'd make the game a lot more tense on both sides and more difficult to perform well, which would be awesome since Escort is quite easy and simple as is.

As it is now, once you learn to stay calm when confronting multiple pursuers by yourself, a combination of the scrub gun, knives, and a normal kill lets you take out three hunters without gettin' stunned so long as the three aren't all side by side (in which case they must be n00bs, and'll probably be triple killed anyways). When hunting, all you need to do is walk around a corner with Mute, nab the kill, and Smoke for a stun or two. If you're without abilities, stay out of sight while slowly gettin' up onto the roof, and ambush immediately to prevent gettin' shot or picked off by a stalwart on the roof.

Even if you're a n00b, all you need is to pick off VIPs/hunters with the hidden gun to at least prevent the opponents from gettin' more points. It's such a fun game mode, but it's a tad too simple at times, and way too easy once mastered...

I actually did but from what I understand everything was glitched, things were all over the joint and messed up. Things we're REALLY out of hand such as disguises being broken but in the end I understood one thing.

Ubisoft games are glitchy...

im surprised u understood any o' that

It's not really Ubisoft games in general, Revelations is an exception. Brotherhood didn't have crazy **** like this in the multiplayer. Some of their moar polished games like Prince of Persia '08 were completely glitch free unless you purposely did impossible-to-normally-do things to cause glitches.

I've little doubt that ACIII's multiplayer will be even more polished as well. Third time's the charm.

Agreed with that. I'm hoping to pick it up.
