So I responded to the thread posted in gaming before this, but its getting no attention so I'm basically just subscribing. Interested to see what you all have to say.

o and nintendo said they will keep updating ssbb after launch, so i hope they add a leader board or ranking chart. And it would not kill to have voice chat to cus 10 year olds out =p

Usually most games (including CS) give you the choice of muting people.

I dont mind button mashing, just not in a fighting game.

All of their points are stupid.

In Brawl button mashing WILL NOT WORK. You know why? Because your damage and knock back will decrease after each successful hit if you are using the same attack over and over. After a few hits your attack's effectiveness will decrease to 50% of it's original capacity. If you use other attacks the nerfed attack will start to recharge.

They did this so players will mix their attacks instead of using the same finish move repeatedly. And save the best for last.

The article is BS, the editor obviously biased against the game because it doesn't have the standard features of XBL. (voice chat, leader boards,etc)
He thinks the most anticipated wii release will suck? No way in hell.

The game will sell in droves. Simply because of the franchise. Even if online bombs horribly, its not the entire premise of the game. There is still crap loads of content outside the online portion.

And FYI the game wasn't truly designed for online gaming. Otherwise all the customizable options available in local multi player would have transitioned over to online as well.
They added online as an afterthought, since they knew the rest of the world (especially the west) was heavy inot the online scene and that would increase their profits just by adding standard online into the game. With all its limitations and no new innovations.

The game is truly intended for local multi player tournaments, since the majority of the customizable options are specific to the local multi player experience.

I had mellee on the GC and it was ok...but i wouldnt call it a "must have" or anything.

Hoping it will be agood game though, as id hate for you guys to be dissapointed by it :mad5:

I do agree with them. Only not the first one.

Button mashers are in a disadvantage in most situations because a "calculated" player that knows his moves can beat the masher. ( I always thought it was called button basher )

The 4th point: Fox final smash is uber and the comment some people here say: No one plays with clones I agree with.

Once everyone knows fox's final smash is uber or the character is uber EVERYONE will pick him. Need an example? Donkey kong in strikers. In the first weeks everyone picked him because he was an easy character. Same thing can happen with the star-fox characters. Once everyone figures out whos the best they will pick him.

Point 3: Lag online because of Ninty's service: This game is SOOO hyped! A lot of people are going to play this so its only a matter of time before it will be too much.

some are vailid i like the online lag one. hope it doesn't happen because it could lose a lot of gamers.

and about leader boards all they show is who plays the game constantly and well, us europeans would be unable to catch up on some of yous as we get it the game a couple of months after everyone else.

online talking, i dont mind this. if you realy want this download teamspeak or something and get a wireless headset.

dont no about button mashing as never played a SSB game before but i think everyone above has cleared it up.

and every game has people using multiple attacks (as a final move) it is annoying but im not gonig to go like hlaf the charecters so im not bothered

what the hell? smash bros series is not a button masher lol, that's probably the dumbest reason up there

fox's f-smash is a dumb complaint too, they're just final smashes, in a way they're complaining about a single item.....wow who cares

about connection, i'ts going fine in japan....so hopefully all goes well in NA as well
