There's as simple solution to this.

Have two computer-ran Melee characters go at each other for any number of trials.

Find the solution yourself, and, if so compelled, post the results.

I used to play Mario vs Luigi with my nephew on DS, and he'd beat me (I was always Luigi because I'm a soft arse) all the time, until I got used to the controls and the layout of the game. Then I kept on kicking his arse.

So, in this case... Luigi

I don't think anyone would win, because that ginger bowser would just capture the princess whilst they fought and then they'd have to put their fight behind them to rescue the princess, and then like a good disney film they all learn a lesson in the end.
