Sometimes it takes time I guess because the notification for a reported to the moderators email so it just depends on when he or she checks her email and whether or not that moderator is online.

I would think a month would be sufficient for someone to respond to a reported post along those lines. I could be wrong, but I doubt it.

I don't even pay attention to usernames most of the time, so lose the I am after you mentality. You may have said that "to the..." parts, but your intent was clearly, "This ends the discussion, move on and accept the current situation".

yeah i agree 100% i think it's like the word jew

some people(around where i live anyways), use jew as an insult, like say "you stupid jew"(i do not mean any offence by this post(or any others for the msot part))

i think there is a responsible way to say it, and an offensive way to say, saying "dude the japs got pokemon way before us" it more respectful then "aww christ, the JAPS got pokemon before US"

maybe it's a regional thing too, near where i live i would never think that would be offensive, and i live in a city filled with asains(we have the 5th best university in the world) but maybe somewhere near pearl harbour they might

that's how i feel, sorry if this might make someone angry but i am ignorant like TLC said and i am probably not going to change my ways, i'm gongi to ask 2 of my jap friends tomorrow and see if they find it offensive, and explain to me why they would, if they do take personal offence to it then i will no longer use the word, also, i do not see why using JA as a short for is okay but not jap
