Anyone computer savvy

I have an HP, 500GB hard drive, 3GB RAM, AMD Atlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Proccesor 6000+, Windows Vista.

My Hp only has a 6000 Series NVIDIA Garphics card.
I want to update it to an 88000 SG, but I also have to update the power supply.

I'm only going to do this for cames like Tribieum, Spore, and any other future games.

Does nayone have any thoughts on this?

thats for people to post their computers, not to ask for help.
anyways i say go for it if you have the money. just make sure you have a PCI-E x16 slot because AFAIK the 8800's are only made for PCI-E x16 (which is the norm now). also dont get a cheap power supply. i did and it friend my motherboard after about 6 months of use
