Here's is some more in-depth information on the story and game features for this upcoming Wii title.

Story:

Call for Heroes: Pompolic Wars is a third-person action game with RPG elements. The game places players in a fantasy medieval world, where a dimensional portal to the Outer Worlds has opened, and an enemy from the darkness has encroached the world. Led by a demon named Pompolic, the armies of demonic hordes have taken over most of the planet. With mysterious origins, Pompolic’s malevolent spiritual being possesses supernatural powers.

His desire is to possess the people and turn them into minions of his dark army, as he wields his power through his servants, the Dark Souls. These Dark Souls - protected by a horde of monsters - are poisoning the minds of his victims and making them slaves of evil. The denizens of this world are on the edge of total annihilation. However, a little hope still exists in the heart of the remaining citizens.

They believe that there are brave hearts who can save the world from the source of the evil power. If the Dark Souls were to be captured, the onslaught would stop, and Pompolic would be defeated; the call for heroes is made...

Amazing one of my favorite Wii titles so far don't know why you guys are bashing it

Just read the last part only 18 different monsters and three bosses what the hell it seems like you could beat it in less than an hour

Maybe they just repeat the models for all those monsters over and over using them in different acts to make it like any other RPG?

Reminds me of Heretic II but with the graphics of Morrowind.

But only 18 I've seen more in free online RPG's

Yeah with that low amount of actual monsters, you think they wouldn't advertise it as a feature, it would be like a racing game saying "ONLY 3 TRACKS AND 4 CARS"

The Gaming company must have tried to make it look pretty but forgot about content.
If they had blueray they could have fit more content on it.

A single layered one sided dvd is about 4gb. To put that into perspective, oblivion is only 4gb and no one moans that that game is too small. I really don't think the issue is with content. More like lazy developers.
