If you don't have an EDTV or HDTV, you won't get the progressive scan, so you really wouldn't notice any difference.

It should help, but is questionable as to how much.

If you had a 16x9 widescreen TV that supports Progressive Scan (480p) it would make a pretty large difference.

Either way it should help with color & quality. Just not as much as the HDTV owners.
