If you’re looking to treat yourself to a new Wii game to really get your teeth into, then get yourself down to your local games emporium today and grab a copy of the newly released Dino Strike, where you’ll get to inhabit a fascinating world full of prehistoric beasts, as you explore beaches, jungles, caves and volcanoes and collect hidden dinosaur eggs, and scattered journal entries and illustrations.

The game is all about blasting as many of those pesky dinosaurs as you can as you work your way around the island, either with your Wii Remote or the bundled gun peripheral. You can choose from a variety of weapons to polish off the big beasts, including a pistol, sawed-off shotgun, crossbow and machine gun. Gameplay includes Single Player, Dual Wield and co-op multiplayer modes, as well as customization of level difficulty.

Dino Strike is available now nationwide, either bundled with the blaster peripheral for $29.99, or without for $19.99.

I liked the first image, but the dinosaurs laying down on crates didn´t convince me.
