Mod is short for moderater. Forums usually have them to keep order. they have certain privalges other member don't. Like tempory ban, delete others posts, move thread etc.

As for the actual question, 'I'm not sure. I've only seen i0n, who is an admin not a mod.

I've seen a few people with "moderator" in their status message, but then again, you can enter your own status in the CP
