Easiest way to capture TV.

I would absolutely love to have wallpaper of each of the characters on Strikers performing their megastrike (particularly Waluigi, as he is more awesome than Chuck Norris on fire). Unfortunately, even after several hours of Googeling, I have not found anything.

What is the best way to capture input directly from the Wii/TV. I know about capture cards, but is there anything specifically that people know of that will capture video/screenshots in full quality? I have tried using a camera but obviously the pictures are fairly poor.

I am using Linux by the way, but I have never had any trouble getting hardware to work before so this should not affect the advice.

I'd probably get a VGA box.

I have the XCM 1080, but it doesn't have the ability to record gameplay via a USB output.

XCM makes a thing called the V-Box. I haven't personally tried it, but I'm happy with their product that I do own.
