Finally!!! a Wii is mine!

HMV in Newport actually had Wiis in stock and I managed to get the last one (woo hoo!). Unfortunately my girlfriend bought it (woo hoo! - again) for my birthday, which means I'll have to wait until the 24th April to play with it (boo hoo)

There was an in-store deal of the Wii, plus the Sonic game, for £200. Not bad.

Zeld'as the next on my list and as soon as I can, i'll be downloading the SNES version of F-Zero! Happy days indeed.

Thanks guys. Its feels like i've reached the end of a very long and ardous journey!

You can't walk into a HMV/Virgin/Game without falling over boxes of PS3s, but trying to get hold of a Wii was near impossible and extremely frustrating.

My advice to those who still don't have one: keep looking, you'll get one in the end!
