Help connecting to a network

How is the internet connection plugged to the router? On the WAN or LAN side? If LAN who is providing DHCP?

hi, it seems there is a compatibility with the wii and the ask 4 network they see it connecting but it doesnt hold the gateway, they are going to get a wii into the office and run some tests to see if it can be resolved.

if the Wii doesn't "hold" the gateway, why not enter all relevant
IP/Default Gateway/DNS values manually?
