"internet and chipping"

i just wanted to know.... if you "chip" as they say, your wii, do you get done over and not be able to go on the net like on xbox 360...?

sorry if this has been posted.... i did some searches but i obviously couldnt get the right keywords. im getting the impression you can, i just want someone to be clear.

also if there is not downside to the net, whats the chances they'll be able to in the future?

Some of them don't work anymore, but with every update, Nintendo are increasing security.

If you don't want to play online, mod it. Otherwise, keep it as it is.
