King/queen of the month/week award?

on a forum which i used to be a member of, they had a king of the month award,
where the person won it if they did different things. these could be some:

1.who contributes most to the forum
2.who makes the funniest comments
3.who is the most helpful in that week
its just an idea i thought we could have. you will all prob call me an idiot or i will get sum kind of verbal abuse for suggesting this but w/e.

I got negative repped for that, you might want to keep quiet too.

But, it doesn't prove anything, the majority of people will vote for the veterans as king or queen, obviously. It's just how many fans you have behind you already. I should mention that, it should be an award, actually getting something when you win, I mean, that is what an award is.

Who is to judge who is helpful?
Who is to judge who is funny?

People have mixed views, it's like people who like modern art, it just goes over my head, and obviously some people detest my sense of humour.
