Mech game?

I haven't seen any discussion on the topic, and I did a brief search, so I apologize if this is a repost, but anyway...

How awesome would a mech simulation type game be on the wii? Much like the flight sim games, but Mech Assault style. I think a game like this would be awesome, as long as the wii motions weren't anything cheesy and it stuck to using the wiimote and nunchuk as joysticks and/or throttles etc.


EDIT :: Oh yeah, and is there any news of upcoming Mech games for the wii?

Sounds like a good idea to me Mechs Kickass it would be kool if you were a huge roboot and you went round blowing up humans and bases and stuff

You could even have co-op 1 player controls movement with wii controller

And the other is the guns

There's at least one mech game coming to the Wii: Gundam 0079

Man, I can't wait. I just hope it isn't Japan-only. Then again, I'm a huge Gundam nerd.

I enjoyed playing custom Robo on the GC.

The dialogue was annoying, but the overall game was nice.


Hopefully they'll make a sequal.. (And maybe an online feature? :ihih: )

There might be a ton of them in Japan
But they dont tend to sell out side Japan so the chance of a US/UK realse is low
