sum ppl say you need one, some people say you dont im not sure i dont see any other than a 4 in 1 where you get the skins for the remotes

You don't need one but it doesn't have a lot of memory

Umm.. No. You store Miis on your Wiimote and then take that Wiimote to other people's houses and unload those Miis via the Mii channel. And there are no memory cards for the Wii per se. There are, however, Gamecube Memory cards which you can insert into the Wii and are VITAL FOR PLAYING GAMECUBE GAMES ON YOUR WII. There is also a slot on the Wii where you can insert your SD card. Which can be used to look at photos, watch movies, listen to music and be used as a memory card of sorts. Otherwise, the memory automatically saves on the Wii's internal 512 MB drive.

I have pictures and music on my SD card, but when I put it in the Wii it shows up blank.
