Modchips aren't illegal, its what people generally do with the modchips that is. It isnt supported by nintendo and you would lose your warranty, but then you could buy import games and such. Importing games still makes Nintendo money so they don't care, but if you import bootleg games, then its illegal. Like a fox!
And Australians reallllly need this region freeness, due to us having pathetic games so far... seriously. Look it up! We get your LAUNCH GAMES in MARCH!

I really like the idea of any VC games. Sharing them via internet and being able to play them. Awesome awesome awesome. The $65 would save me TONS

Yeah even if the WiiXT is fake theres bound to be a chip to do the same. Give it a little time and we'll be doing stuff we probably never even thought of doing with the Wii
