I got my Wii about two days after the release and absolutely love my new toy.
I've been playing video games since the mid-80s when I was in elementary school. It seemed any social gathering back then included a few hours on the NES (did I just date myself?). I, at one time, owned every Nintendo system up until the Game Cube. (I bought a PS2 instead because EA said they were not making NHL games for the GC. I also liked the connectivity of the PS2.)
But now I am back with the World of Nintendo, getting a good workout with Wii Sports and looking forward to a ton of virtual console games to be released. I consider my Wii the best $250 I've spent in ages.
