Please help regarding cod5 multiplayer!!

Hi guys n gals :wink:

My heads in bits and I need your help!! Ive had COD5 now for about 4 days and im loving the online multiplayer, its like seriously addictive, thing is im frustrated as feck coz when I get a streak and I can send out the recon plane, or the artillery, (or the dogs when I get that good), how the hell on gods earth do I deploy it ?

I managed the recon plane once by just pushing everything, but I just had the artillery and for love nor money I couldnt deploy it:frown5: !

Please tell me how to do this ?

I know the icon comes on the bottom of the page, saying what you have available (ie plane etc) showing the cross pad thing, with a number 2 near it, and 1 end is white, which I presumed your supposed to press - but on mine, all it does is change my weapon to my secondary weapon, or if I press the 2 then the shaded part of the triangle I get the scoreboard up and then change weapon. Same happens if I do it at the same time
