Resident Evil on Wii same as PS2 version?

Are these two games the same or did they make any changes too it?

other than better graphics and a demo of REUC, no.
and the wii remote makes aiming much easier. items that appear from defeated enemies appear instead of just the glowing colorful light......
and the biggest difference is that El Gigante takes only 2 stuns, since wagging your wiimote is easier than pressing buttons.

it's like a mix between the ps2 and gamecube versions, in a good way. so no, it's much better.

the PS2 version of RE4 had inferior graphics than the GameCube one. Wii Edition took PS2's extra stuff and GameCube's graphics

yeah, they take all the good aspects from each of the games, and combine them in Wii Edition.

okay the i had the ps2 and gc versions of the game i mean since i had it on gc first i felt it controlled better on the gc but the ps2 with the extra stuff but the graphics looked like exactly the same so guys stop bitching about how the gc version of the game looked so much better then the ps2version so guys if u havent played both then just dont complain

no one is complaining, the only one complaining is YOU complaining about how we're saying the GameCube undeniably has better graphics:
in the PS2 the fog is clear,
the polygon count is halved,
the movie files are blurry,
much of the lighting effects were downgraded,
etc. also there are less ganados

YES, the PS2 version has extra features, and YES, the Gamecube version has better graphics and sounds

Exactly the cleared fog makes the game less scary.
look up any PS2/GC discussion on RE4 youll find the ppl on them all acknowledge this, that the PS2 cant handle RE4 like GC

1. that didnt make any sense. i had to read it six times to understand what you were even saying. learn to type

2. noone said the ps2 as a console was worse than the gc one, they were just politely saying the gc had better graphic capabilities and therefore re4 gamecube version LOOKED BETTER.

anyways, if you want to feel any sort of content, the PS3 will provide RE5 with HD graphics whereas the wii cannot.
