I just started playing this game, love it so much, but does anyone know if it's possible to change the camera viewing direction ? It's at the back of the character and he blocks 1/4 of the screen, kind of annoying

No there is no way of changing the camera viewpoint.

I never really found it to be a problem though and after a while you should get used to it.

I completed my first run through of the game last weekend and it was awesome! I'll be playing through it twice more though, the second to choose different options to change bits in the game and the third time to get the UFO ending.
