Super Mario Brothers speed issue

I have recently purchased the PAL/European version of Super Mario Brothers and have noticed that the sound seems fast and that the time clicks down pretty fast. The game is still playable, but it is quite noticeably off. Anybody else notice this?

i dont know what kind of tvs you are playing on, but if possible, alter your refresh rate... some vc games go too fast or slow with different refresh rates

you might also want to try re-downloading the games.
That has been a popular solution for VC game problems.

Just so you guys know, the time isn't in seconds... It's always been much faster. That said... I'm throwing that out there, seeing as I haven't bought SMB for Wii yet.
