Came across an interesting post on kotaku

83% of Xbox 360 Games Aren't FPSs

Or, put in different numbers, only 17% of Xbox 360 games are FPSs. Annoyed by rantings of too many FPS titles (which I, myself, have been guilty of), FPS Source counted up 137 released Xbox 360 games and found that not even a quarter of titles are FPSs.

The two biggest genre hogs were Action/Action Adventure (at 26%) and Sports (also at 26%).

And that's on the king of the FPSs, the 360. I've heard more than once on these forums that there are too many FPSs. But I contend that the genre is a) different on the Wii and b) massively underrepresented on the Wii. Apparently, it's not even the most overdone genre on other systems either.

no theres too many FPS's leading the way of consoles. TBH i dont really care but other people do so yea.
