USB keyboard on my wii?

Alright dudes.

I was just wondering about using a keyboard with the opera browser.

Firstly, does anyone know if nintendo are planning to bring out a wireless keyboard? That would be awesome.

Secondly, (although I could just go through the house and try it) Can I plug a usb keyboard straight into the back of the wii?

And finally (I'll be impressed if this works!) would a 3rd party wireless keyboard and mouse ever work on the wii? Assuming that there's a usb wireless dongle in the 3rd party box?

Who knows? Not me anyway. That's why I asked!

Currently, no keyboard has been found to work with the Wii. Until Nintendo updates the firmware to support these types of devices, they will continue to not function. Whether Nintendo will ever support 3rd party keyboards/mice is anyone's guess.
