Can you play games that have been played on another console on your wii?
thanks its i asked because on a page on the site with 101 questions about the wii it said that you could not.
Well that depends. Is this "other console" a gamecube or another wii? If it is either of these then yes. In fact, I say always go with used games over completely new ones because they're usually quite a bit cheaper.
its another wii console
the reason im asking also is because i got call of duty 3 in a package and i do not like it because i cannot control it and i want to sell it
The only thing you can't do is play VC games that you download on other people's Wii.
of course lol when you bought that game it didnt have to be ordered from nintendo like the vc games and the dvd drive cannot read only write data so the disc is exactly the same as it was before it was opened like any other console
you in aus? i want that game....
no im in the uk and call of duty 3
hmm can anyone verify that the uk game would work on my wii? and what would you get from your local trade store for it?
no sorry i dont know
Nah it wouldn't work, region coded or whatever it's called. Unless you gotta PAL Wii?
mine is PAL UK and Aus have same but some say it works some dont... btw my wiisports, wiiplay and zelda says (eur) and (aus) on the back in a little box but says only for sale and use in australia, does that mean it's illegal to play it in another country if so thats stupid
i dont think that its only for use in aussie. i dont see why the companies would benefit from that.
