Wave Bird compatility with Wii

hopefully this is the right forum for this...

does anyone know if you can use the Wave Bird with the Wii?
i'm assuming you can (as you can use normal GC controllers) but don't want to buy one just to test

Yes, of course. Plug it in just like a normal controller and you're good to go.
