What the point of getting a memory unit?

You can only have your gamertag on one memory unit at a time, but you can keep moving it back and forth. You wont corrupt anything, but if you do all you need to do is that recover gamertag thing. You need the actual 360 memory card a sd card reader only lets you do picture,music,videos.

if you have a 360 memory card reader for your PC then you can make copys of your gamertag so you can have it on more than 1 console

ya thats what i had with my original xbox, it was sweet, but sometimes my friend would sign on mine by accident when i was on it and it would sign me off, it was sweet though both of us playing halo 2 ranked and stuff
