Why isnt Wii Sports & Play online?

If and when there is a Wii Sports 2 (I'm sure there will be), Nintendo will likely make them online multiplayer.

Online Tennis Doubles with microphones would be pwnage.

they'll have to overcome some difficult lag issues first though

yeah... my wii's internet is significantly slower than any other wireless device i use.
