Wii formats one SD card

I read my maunal for my wii and it says it can play .mov so i put one on a sd card and it said the file souphark1001 cant play. yes i have have a tv tunner and it put it in .mov and it's works fine on my pc. yes i dont have a mac
but can anone tell me why it wont play it and allso .aiv's

Movies have worked fine for me. Maybe it has to be in amv format? :\

i have tryed .mov .aiv and a few others. i think it is the sise it is in or somthing.
