According to wii.nintendolife. Wii Play is the best ranking game evere...thats a laugh.

11.1 million people can't be wrong

Beats Call of Duty, Madden... Namco Museum?!

NPD recently revealed a list of the best-selling games in the US, and Nintendo's pack-in title Wii Play came out on top, beating every other game of the past fifteen years.

That's right - those nine minigames have sold more copies than any title from the Call of Duty, Madden NFL, Grand Theft Auto and Guitar Hero series. NPD haven't released the actual sales figures yet, but last October they revealed Wii Play had sold a staggering 11.1 million copies across the US.

The biggest surprise of all in NPD's list? The tenth best-selling game of all time in the US is Namco Museum. That's right - it's outsold Brain Training, Super Smash Bros. Brawl and thousands of other titles.
Here's the top ten in full.
ALL-TIME TOP 10 US NON-PC GAMES

3) Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas (PS2, Xbox)

5) Wii Fit (Wii)

that's just wrong. i mean, even the shitty ass COD is better than that crap

just goes to show how retarded some people are.

that's funny. no mention of how many were sold back to second hand stores a week later. heh no I actually like wii play the pool on it was good times two player + a dozen beer.

The only reason this sold well is because it came packaged with a Wii remote. If it was sold stand-alone (even for a cheap price), it would be nowhere near to making this list.

that's what doesn't make sense though. if people bought this **** for just the remote then why not get just a remote itself for cheaper?

it's cause the stupid 'tards actually wanted this piece of ****, not just a remote

Because it's not much cheaper. People are faced with the choice of buying a remote by itself, or for just $10 more, you can get a remote AND a game! It's like an infomercial deal and that sort of sales technique works very well (as we see in this example).
