can they be purchased online in sthe wii store, or do i have to buy the card ?

i just bought a wii, i just havent got it yet, and i was trying to get this question answered while im at work...

Yes, you can buy wii points via the Wii Shop Channel, but to do so you must have a credit card. If you don't have a credit card, then you'll have to buy a wii points card from a store and then you'll enter the wii points card number in the wii store to get the points.
