The wii's price is staying at $250 but the xbox has lowered its price to $250 and the ps3 has lowered its price to $300.

xbox and ps3 offer more hardcore games and movie playing capabilities. but the wii is the only gaming system with precision motion capabilities avaliable now and with the christmas season just around the corner will the wii still be able to remain number 1 in sales.

I believe the Wii will ride out this Holiday season with the title of #1 videogame console in tack. But as you mentioned the prices of the more "powerful" consoles are lowering rapidly. So we will just have to wait and see how long they hold that coveted title.
