Wii shop channel

I got a wii and I havent gotten a lan adapter yet so I can't see the shop channel and is there anything on the wii shop channel that isn't virtual console games? i heard that there were going to be downloads for demos of games that weren't out yet. are there any?

nothing yet. only thing you can get in wiiware is the trial internet.

theres forcast channel too, but you need internet for both of these
