wii usb ?

I saw the wii usb thingy in amazon and I was wandering if I could purchase something else other than that I also need feedback from it as I want to get a wireless usb so I can connect the wii and a laptop I will be getting

Is that possible or do I have a to get a router and connect that into my wired cable modem ?
